“CND Soldiers” is a powerful and politically charged artwork by the elusive street artist Banksy, first appearing in 2003 near the Houses of Parliament in London. The image depicts two soldiers, one kneeling as he paints a large peace symbol (the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament or CND logo) on a wall, while the other stands guard with a rifle. The juxtaposition of military imagery with a symbol of peace encapsulates Banksy's signature irony and anti-war sentiment.

This unsigned edition of CND Soldiers was part of a limited print release by Pictures on Walls (POW) in 2005. The edition is capped at 600 unsigned prints, screen printed on high-quality archival paper. Like much of Banksy's work, it uses stark black and white contrasts with a splash of red for the peace sign, drawing the viewer’s eye immediately to the central message of the piece.

Banksy's CND Soldiers critiques the contradictions of warfare, highlighting how the tools of conflict are often used in the name of peace. It remains one of his most iconic anti-war images and is highly sought-after among collectors for its raw simplicity and enduring message.
