No Ball Games (Green) is a poignant and playful screenprint by Banksy, released in 2009. The artwork depicts two children – a boy and a girl – tossing around a “No Ball Games” street sign, directly subverting the message it carries. With typical Banksy irony, the piece transforms a restrictive public notice into a symbol of youthful rebellion and imaginative freedom.

Set against a green background, the image contrasts innocence and defiance, highlighting how children naturally challenge authority and reshape the world around them. The simplicity of the composition, paired with its satirical edge, makes No Ball Games one of Banksy’s most iconic commentaries on control, urban life, and the human spirit.

This edition was released in both green and red colourways, with equal numbers of signed and unsigned prints. The green version is slightly less common on the secondary market and is prized for its fresh, vibrant tone.
